Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your Liveclicker account. Before you enable MFA for your account, please download and install the Google authenticator application on your phone, which is available on the Google Play store or the Apple App store. Once MFA is enabled, it forces users to use the Google Authenticator application on their mobile device (iPhone or Android) to retrieve a security code and input the code during the login process.

How to enable MFA

There are 2 ways to enable MFA inside the Liveclicker application:

1. Individual users can enable MFA in the Profile tab of the My Account section in Account Settings. This option allows individual users to enable MFA for their user account for accounts that do not have MFA enabled by default.

Click on ON. A wizard is displayed which will give you instructions on how to set up the MFA app:

Follow the instructions and you are all set.

2. Admin users can enforce MFA for all users of the account in the Users tab of the My Account section in Account Settings under the Multi-Factor Authentication sub-tab.
